I build apps and help teams build theirs.

At my largest, 56 people reported up to me. On Coinbase's app infrastructure team I helped with releases and the app's big migrations. Now I consult independently, build Curvinha and maintain libraries like magic-modal and safe-jsx.

Things I made.

The app I'm building now, and the open-source work other teams ship with.

Curvinha

Founder

A native iPhone app: you scan a room with LiDAR, then get a proposal with real products you can buy, plus the shopping list. Curated with architects from Curva Interiores.

Pegada

Founder

A dating app for dogs on iOS and Android. I built it with Expo and React Native, put it on the App Store in 2023 and open-sourced it in 2025.

A magic modal you can await from anywhere: React Native, Expo, and the web.

console.log(answer);
It opens over the page. Whatever the await returns shows up in the console below.

Real-time repair-status tracker for an Apple Service Provider. Internal dashboards for technicians and customer service. Headless-CMS sites for the holding's brands.

Gabriel is one of those top 0.1% engineers that are incredibly hard to find. He's a top-notch engineer, and a top-notch human being.

Patrick Cason, my manager at G2i and a peer at Meta

How I can help.

Scoped projects or interim leadership, remote with US teams.

How an engagement runs.

  1. Review

I read the code, the release pipeline, and the backlog, and talk to whoever owns each one.

You getA list of what's slowing you down, ranked by risk

  2. Plan

A short written plan: what to fix first, what it costs, and what can wait.

You getA written plan, in order and costed

  3. Ship

I work inside your team on the riskiest part first: the migration, the slow screens, the release train.

You getPull requests in your repo, reviewed by your team

  4. Hand off

Docs, review standards, and an owner on your team for each piece.

You getA team that keeps it running without me

I'd highly recommend Gabriel to any organization looking for a strong engineering leader who genuinely cares about both his people and the success of the business.

From my GitHub releases.
